DESCRIPTION OF WORK -- The work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment necesary to renovate historic interiors of existing Lobby, Registration area(s), Office space(s) and modifications to "I Bar", a cocktail lounge. The work will involve the abatement of lead base painted surfaces, and asbestos. Upgrades to electrical power and lighting, plumbing, and heating ventilating and air conditioning and any incidental related work complete and ready for use. -- The estimated cost is between $100,000 to $250,000. -- Firm Fixed Price Contract. -- Contract duration is 150 calendar days. -- Bids will be considered from all responsible sources. -- This project is unrestricted. -- The Standard Industrial Code is 1542 and the annual size standard is $17 million. -- It is recommended the subcontracting plan goals reflect a minimum goal of 5% for Small Disadvantaged Business subcontracting effort. -- NOTE: Plans and specs will not be mailed to firms within a 20 mile radius of the issuing office. -- A fee will be charged for all plans and specs, contact the Plan Issue Office at (619) 532-2082.
