This solicitation is for boundary fence maintenance and construction on the Department of Energy's Savannah River Site near Aiken, SC. Work shall include approximately 1.5 miles of new barbed wire fence construction spread over several different locations and maintenance activities to the existing barbed wire fence along both the external and internal boundaries of the Savannah River Site. This work shall include, but not be limited to, activities on new and existing fence lines for the following items: new fence construction, gate installations, post inspection, post replacement, wire replacement and gate replacement. The resulting contract will be for one year and will involve the issuing of task orders for required work. The Savannah River Site (SRS) is a restricted access Government facility and all persons entering SRS must be U.S. citizens. (0199)
