The project is to renovate a two-story, eleven (11) guest room, 7617 SF permanent lodging facility. Demolition: Remove asbestos floor tile and mastic throughout and ACM joints and pipe insulation. Demolish existing bath and closet areas, including fixtures, plumbing, ceramic tile and interior walls. Exterior walls are to remain. Remove existing plumbing throughout each building. Remove existing doors and door frames. New Work: Renovate baths for each guest room, including new ceramic floors, vanity sinks, new bathtubs, new toilet fixtures, new light fixtures, new exhaust system for each bath vented to exterior, new doors with card key entry hardware and door frames, new kitchen space, and new plumbing; insulate piping; install new high efficiency through-wall fan coil units. Apply new wall finishes and stair treads in stairways. Provide new outlets, CTAV, telephone jacks, lights, ceiling fans, sconces, and kitchen appliances (microwaves, refrigerators, and electric ranges and hoods). Provide new vinyl mini-blinds at all windows, new carpet throughout (excluding kitchen and baths). Magnitude of construction is estimated between $250,000 and $500,000. Award will be subject to availability of funds. Duration of the project is 183 calendar days. This is an Unrestricted Procurement. SIC 1522 applies.
