Z -- CONSTRUCT RESOURCE RECOVERY AND RECYCLING FACILITY SOL N62472-96-B-3037 POC For plans and specifications call, (908) 323-2494 The presolicitation notice for contract N62472-96-B-3037 entitled "Construct Recycling Facility" is modified to "Construct Resource Recovery And Recycling Facility" as indicated above. All bidders previously indicating their desire to receive plans and specifications for project N62472-96-B- 3246, "Construct Resource Recovery Facility", are hereby notified it is not necessary to request plans and specifications under the revised contract N62472-96-B-3037. Synopsis:. The work includes all material, equipment, labor and supervision, under a Firm Fixed Price Contract, Base Bid and One (1) Bid Option to provide the following. Base Bid includes provision for a raised concrete trash transfer station, retaining walls, asphalt and concrete pavement, curbs, landscaping and incidental related work. Bid Option 1 includes provision for a pre-engineered building, associated underground utilities, truck loading dock, and incidental related work. Performance period for Base Bid shall be 120 calendar days. Performanceperiod for Bid Option 1 shall be as follows: if awarded within 30 calendar days of the base contract award date, the contract completion date will remain unchanged. If awarded 31 days or more from the base contract award date, a separate completion date will be established allowing a 120 calendar day performance period for Option one (1) only. The original contract completion date for the Base Bid shall remain unchanged. The contract includes the clause titled "Evaluation of Options" (FAR 52.217-5) Except when determined in accordance with FAR 17.206(b) not to be in the Government's best interest, the Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirements. Evaluation of options will not obligate the Government to exercise the option(s). (End of provision). The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) for this project is 1542. The related Small Business Size Standards is $17.0 million annual receipts for the preceding three fiscal years.
