Z -- REPLACE ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AND MAIN SUBSTATION, FACILITY 18, PROJECT NUMBER BXUR 96-1080 SOL F49642-97B0033 POC TSgt Micheal Purnell, (202) 767-7969/Mrs. Cleaver (202)767-8100 This project consist essentially of, but is not limited to furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, performance, and material necessary to Replace Electrical Distribution System and Main Substation, Bldg. 18, which includes replacement of the three (3) medium voltage switchgear lineups in their entirety. Replace two sets of medium voltage feeders from Building no. 18 switchgear to the existing building no. 4505 mini-substation in it's entirety via the existing ductbank system as shown on the plans. Provide a ductbank and manhole system to accomodate the four PEPCO feeder which will require relocation. The Standard Industrial Code is 3612. Performance Period is 365 calendar days. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This solicitation is competitively set-aside for the Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) program. Only those firms that are certified by SBA under this program will be allowed to submit a proposal. The tentative issue date is 8 Aug 97 and the tentative deadline for receipt of bids in 9 Sep 97.
