J -- PROVIDE PORTABLE CHEMICAL TOILETS AT PUGET SOUND NAVAL SHIPYARD AND TENANT ACTIVIITES SOL N44255-97-D-4572 DUE 090498 POC Karen Smith, Contract Specialist (360) 476-5240/Audrey Fitzgerald, Contracting Officer (360) 476-2427 The work includes furnishing all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to provide, service, and relocate portable chemical toilets at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, Washington, including tenant activities. In addition, other Government activities/buildings within a fifty (50) mile radius of the Shipyard may also utilize these services, as requested. The proposed procurment will result in a Firm-Fixed Pice/Requirement type contract with a base year and 4 -1 year options. Options may be exercised without further notification. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 4959. The related small business size standard is $5 million. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Specifications will be available on or about 05 August 1997. There will be a non-refundable charge of $30.00 for hard copies of the solicitation. Specifications may be obtained by submitting a request to: Defense Automated Printing Service (DAPS), 1100 Hunley Road, Suite 108, Naval Submarine Base Bangor, Silverdale, WA 98315-5740, telephone (360) 315-4012. Requests sent via mail must include a cashier's check, money order, bank certified check, or company check. Make checks payable to the U.S. Treasury. Payment may also be charged on a VISA or MASTER credit card by providing the account number and the expiration date. Requests may also be submitted via facsimile (360) 396-4225 or Internet Email, EFAPOD@DDAS.MIL only if payment is made by VISA or MASTER card (include account number and expiration date). Specifications will be mailed on Wednesdays and Fridays ONLY. In addition, specifications may be picked up at DPAS on Wednesdays and Fridays ONLY from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Payment for specifications are the same as those identified above. Cash WILL NOT be accepted. Specifications will not be issued until proper payment has been received. Phone requests WILL NOT be honored. Your request must also include the Solicitation Number: N44255-97-B-4572, complete company name, address, telephone number including area code, and whether bidding as a prime, subcontractor, or supplier. Plan holders lists will be mailed, not faxed. For site visit arrangements, phone (360) 476-6278 at least 48 hours in advance (weekends and holidays will not count towards notification time, only normal workdays) of the site visit date of 26 August 1997 at 10:00 a.m. Bidders will be required to provide their own safety equipment, i.e., hard-hats, safety shoes, etc. Do not mail or hand-deliver bids to DPAS.
