Flood Insurance Program's Underwriting and Loss Adjustment Processes.
The Contractor will be required to assess and make recommendations in
three interrelated areas: the underwriting and claims requirements of
the NFIP; how well the NFIP underwriting and claims requirements are
being met; and, the nature and adequacy of FIA controls over NFIP
underwriting and claims processes. The Contractor will be required to
conduct research to improve the operations of the NFIP by identifying
practical changes to NFIP underwriting and claims processes and to FIA
controls. The Contractor will be required to conduct the research in
two phases: A. Data Gathering and Preliminary Analysis; and B.
Evaluation, Recommendations, and Final Report. All responsible sources
