The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) requires an SWR Bridge Kit to calibrate and maintain network analyzer systems. NAWCAD intends to award a sole-source, fixed price contract to Amritsu-Wiltron of Gaithersburg, MD 20879. The contract line item number and specific requirements are: CLIN 0001 quantity 6 each, SWR Bridge Kit. The minimum requirements for the VSWR kit is to provide the following components allowing reflection measurements to be made with high accuracy for type N and GPC-7 connectors: VSWR bridge (up to 2 bridges may be used to meet the following specs); Directivity of 46 dB from 5 MHz to 2 GHz and 38 dB from 2 to 18 GHz; test port match of 21 dB 5 Mhz-2 Ghz, 10 dB 2-3 Ghz, 14 dB 3-4 Ghz, and 18 dB 4-18 Ghz; 0.5 W maximum input power. The connector types are GPC-7 for test port and type N female for input and output ports. Adapters for the bridge kit must be GPC-7/N male and female with 1.02 VSWR. Open/shorts must equal 50 ohms; GPC-7; 50 ohm terminations (DC to 18 Ghz; 1 0.5 W maximum input power) type N male and female; VSWR of 1.002+0.0026*f(GHz); 50 ohm offset terminations (DC to 19 GHz; 0.5 W maximum input power); GPC-7; return loss of 20+0.5 dB to 1 GHz, 20+1.0 dB to 4 GHz, 20+1.5 dB to 18 Ghz. All items to be delivered under this contract shall be warranted for defects in manufacturing and workmanship for a period of one year. The offeror must provide sufficient technical literature, documentation, etc. in order for the Government to make an adequate technical assessment of the offer.
