Z -- PAINT EXTERIOR TRIM OF BUILDING 200 SOL 27-3K47-97 DUE 082797 POC Keina Burrier, Contract Specialist, 301-504-5888 Furnish labor and materials to paint the exterior trim which includes ornamental trim, dormer windows, dormer louvers, entry way doors and overhangs and bell tower of Building 200, (4 stories) located at the USDA, ARS, Beltsville Agricultural Research Center in Beltsville, Maryland. Work to include lead abatement (55% lead), repair/replacement of deteriorated wood, surface prep, recaulking/reglazing and paint application in accordance with the Statement of Work, Special Conditions and Specifications. All work is to be completed within 30 calendar days following receipt of Notice to Proceed. This requirement is being procured under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures using Best Value. Magnitude of project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Only one site visit will be conducted. Both Contractors and Subcontractors shall attend. It is scheduled for August 14, 1997 at 10:00 a.m., meeting at Building 200, Room 220, (conference room), Powdermill Road, Beltsville, Maryland. This procurement is set-asidefor Emerging Small Business (ESB) concerns. To qualify as an ESB, a small business concern's size must be no greater than $3.5 million annually for the last three years. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded to the responsible offeror who submits the quotation considered most advantageous to the government considering price and other factors.
