Kruzewski, 401-736-1704 (FAX) Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, supervision, and disposal necessary to construct aids to navigation structures on the Thames River. Work includes fabricating and installing the Thames River directional light consisting of one single steel pipe pile and platform assembly and constructing the Thames River Middle Reach Front Range Tower consisting of a 3 pile dolphin. The Thames River Middle Reach Rear Range Light is also a 3 pile dolphin and is included in the project as an option item. The superstructures of the 3 pile dolphins, solar equipment and lights are Government furnished. Marine surveys are required for each structure. Required Permits will be obtained by the Coast Guard prior to initiation of work. Performance period is sixty days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. SIC is 1629. Cost range is between $25,000 to $100,000. Plans and specifications will be available on or about August 7, 1997 until supply is exhausted. A non refundable check in the amountof $20.00 payable to US Coast Guard is required. Only written requests will be honored. Receipt of quotations are due on August 22, 1997, 4:00 PM at place of issue. This procurement is a request for quotations, planholders list and quotes WILL NOT be made public.
