Description of work: hull blasting and painting, non-skid application, zinc replacement & tank preservation. Work will be performed at contractors facility. The UF's will be done two at a time scheduled as follows: UF's 25,26 14 Oct thru 7 Nov, UF's 32,307 17 Nov thru 19 Dec, UF's 44,49 5 Jan thru 30 Jan 98, UF's 130,131 9 Feb thru 6 Mar 98. Sources who currently hold, or are qualified for and willing to enter into an Agreement for Boat Repair/Master Ship Repair Agreement DFAR 217.71 prior to award, may submit a bid which shall be considered by this agency. Firms which do not, possess an Agreement for Boat Repair/Master Ship Repair Agreement are ineligible for award unless adequate time exists to permit the Navy to perform an assessment of thir MSR application to execute the ABR/MSRA without impacting the vessels availability dates.
