D -- SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE SOL DCA20098Q0011 DUE 080197 POC Darlene Cutler 618-256-9697 The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Computer Technology Division, Procurement Branch (DTS42) intends to issue a sole source contract to Sterling Software, 1800 Alexander Bell Drive, Reston, VA 20191-4382, for the acquisition of software maintenance for the following proprietary products: VS: Manager, VM: Vantage, VM: Migrate, and VM Products. These software products are currently installed on equipment located at the DMC in Oklahoma City. Period of performance for the maintenance is 1 Oct 97 through 30 Sep 98. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Companies who can provide the above listed software maintenance must indicate their interest within 15 days of this announcement. Any party interested in receiving a copy of the solicitation shall provide written notice to the Contracting Office. Datafax requests to 618-256-9414 are acceptable. No contract award will be made on the basis of quotations/proposals received in response to this notice, since this synopsis cannot be considered a Request for Quotations/Proposals.
