Presently the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport plans to award production contracts with options for TR-339, TR-3400, TR-302, and TR-353 transducers in fiscal year 1998. In response to companies' requests, we are making drawings available for the cost of preparation and transmittal. These drawings are made available with the understanding that (1) the drawings are not validated production drawings (the acquisition will be based on performance specifications) and that (2) the Government m ay never issue or award a contract(s) and checks will not be returned. For electronic transfer of drawings, the cost is $280 per set (e.g., drawings for TR-339 constitutes one set). For mailing of hard copies of drawings, the cost is $400 per set.
