Provide labor, supplies, and materials to install stainless steel bands around four (4) courses of each of the thirty-three (33) masonry chimneys on the Old Courthouse located at 11 North 4th Street, St. Louis, MO. Each of the stainless steel bands shall be 1" wide by 1~/8" thick, with a bracket attached to each end to receive a turn-buckle to be used to tighten the band. All edges of the masonry chimney shall be protected by angle brackets or other protection from the stainless steel band. Prior to installation the exterior side of the stainless steel bands shall be lightly sandblasted to dull the "shinny" surface of the bands. Issue date for the solicitation will be on/about July 28, 1997 with the offer return date of August 28, 1997.
