This FY97 OMA PN CV00072-5J, Upgrade Power, Bldg 100, Fort Shafter, Oahu, Hawaii encompasses upgrades to the building's electrical system, consisting of three floors and a basement. Upgrading the electrical power provides safety for the occupants, adds more circuits and eliminates potential overload, tripping, and frequent outages. Work entails removal of existing 225KVA dry type transformer and providing a new 300 KVA pad mount transformer with branch panels and feeder, as required. Since electrical outages are limited to off-duty hours, work under this project must be completed in the evenings and on weekends. The estimated cost of the proposed project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Solicitation to be issued 0/A August 4, 1997. Documents to be available at $35.00 per set of specifications and drawings. Single copies of specifications alone may be purchased for $21.00. You may also purchase drawings alone at $14.00. Payment must accompany request. Cash will not be accepted.
