Q -- PROVIDE FOREIGN GRADUATE STUDENTS SOL 263-97-P-(AB)-0035 DUE 083097 POC Ann Bryant, Contract Specialist, 301/402-3080, FAX 301/402-3406 Provide Foreign Graduate Students through a US university to train in NIH laboratories as part of this post-doctoral training. Contractor shall assure that students possess, 1) evidence that they are doctoral candidates in another institution [letter or transcript will suffice]; 2) TOEFL score of 550 or better; 3) Source of funding through the contractor's institution and 4) Qualify as full time students. Contractor shall arrange for issuance of J1 or F1 visa and any other necessary actions for students. Contractor shall be located within one (1) hour from the NIH Main Campus, located in Bethesda, Maryland, to enable the students a reasonable commute time between the NIH and the educational institution. The students are required to attend classes at the institution, as well as receive training in the NIH Laboratories and will be required to commute between the two sites. Approximately 20 students per year will be required. Students may be furnished on a rotational basis. The performance periodis for a one year basic period with four (4) one-year options. (0196)
