Contractor shall provide a Historic Context Statement for Mining in southwestern Oregon. The Statement, a planning tool, shall include: 1) a narrative describing the history of a project area; 2) a discussion of types of cultural resources and their distribution within the project area; 3) a method for evaluating the significance of the resources; 4) recommendations for management and treatment of the resources; and 5) an outline of future research and needs. Contractor shall also provide a version of the historic context suitable for public dissemination. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. See Numbered Note: 1. (0195)
