The Government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Sensor Applications, Inc., 502 Court Street, Utica, NY 13502 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 for 2 each Image Express Pro Motion Analysis Workstations, part number IX5D-5D. The SAI motion analysis workstation is the only equipment which is compatible with digital imaging systems being tested and purchased by NAWCAD. This piece of motion analysis equipment is the only one that can import and process the digital images produced by DRS Technology high speed digital imaging systems. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However interested parties may submit a capability statement. All capability statements received in response to this notice will be considered by the Government solely for the purpose of determining whether to initiate a competitive procurement. The Government reserves the right to process the procurement on a sole source basis based upon the responses received.
