This is a combined synopsis/solicitation intent to procure on a sole source basis from Haag-Streit Service for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information provided in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The Naval Construction Battalion Center intends to negotiate with Haag-Streit on a sole source basis for eleven (11) each Haag-Streit 900 BM slit lamp, unit model, 120V/60HZ/1PH; two (2) sets of operating and service manuals; and eleven (11) each Haag-Streit R900 Applanation Tonometer with two prisms; two (2) sets operating and service manuals. Delivery FOB Destination, Gulfport, MS, 30 days after award. This will be a firm-fixed priced purchase order. This solicitation document, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-45 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-11. The proposed procurement will be conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for other than maximum competition. This requisition is unrestricted, the applicable SIC is 3841, and the size standard is 500 employees.
