contracts_dsc@nps.gov. The National Park Service (NPS), Denver Service
Center (DSC), is seeking a source of supply for a single 70-125 ton
water cooled chiller, to include two (2) indoor central station air
handlers and two (2) roll filter assemblies. All three items need to be
fully compatible. All three items are to be delivered to the Washington
Monument in Washington, D.C. for installation by others under separate
contract. Due to restrictive space conditions in the Monument, the
dimensions and certain other salient characteristics of the chiller and
the air handler units must be complied with. The maximum dimensions for
the chiller are 6'0" high x 2'10" wide by 8'7" long. The maximum
dimensions for the air handlers are 120" wide x 74" high by 87.5" long,
including the hot water coil. Door swing for the Across-Line control
panel access door must be 1'7" for each door. Roll filter assemblies
must be sized to fit the AHUs. Connections must be provided for
condenser water connections at left end with respect to the control
panel. Evaporator water connections must be on the opposite side of the
unit from the control panel. An acceptable chiller unit for this
requirement is manufactured by the Trane Company, Glycol Chiller Model
Number RTWA100. An acceptable dry cooler is manufactured by the Trane
Company, Model Number MCCA050. An acceptable roll filter assembly is
manufactured by the Trane Company. All interested quoters are invited
to submit a price quote, inclusive of all items, including shipping to
the Washington Monument. In order to be considered for award, price
quotes must be received by close of business, 4:30 P.M. Mountain Daily
Savings time on July 31, 1997. Quotes must also include the
anticipated delivery date if awarded by Purchase Order. Quotes may be
