Requirements are 397 each, 167 each, 110 each. FOB is Destination. For use on the M1 Abrams Tank. P/N 12529529 is a steel item consisting of two steel pins welded into a machined base. Overall approximate size is 6 inches by 4.5 inches. Heat treat required; P/N 12548439 is a steel item consisting of a welded formed hinge approx 3.0 inches long, and a welded steel link formed from .125 inch thick steel. Both components are welded together at completion. Cadmium plating, paint and heat treat are required; P/N 9338496 is a barrel fabricated from seamless tubing 3.62 OD x .375 wall and approx 3.5 inches long, and a steel handle approx 1.2 inches by 1.0 inch by 0.9 inches. This component can be machined or forged. Both components are welded together. Estimated issue date is 30 Jul 97. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY97 requirement.
