This Sources Sought advertisement for informational purposes only is restricted to Historically Black Colleges and Universities. If adequate interest is not received from Historically Black Colleges and Universities, the solicitation, if it develops, will be issued as unrestricted; full and open competition. The Air Force Dental Services seeks a civilian institution, with an accredited Dental Hygiene program, to train our Dental Technicians to become Certified Dental Hygienists (CDHs). The institution will be required to evaluate existing Air Force dental training courses for applicability to their existing program. Once this evaluation is complete, the institution will then develop a training program that will fill the gap between the Air Force training received and the training offered at their institution. The institution may use a variety of training media, subject to Air Force approval. Our goal is for our Air Force students to receive a certificate or an associates from an accredited institution in Dental Hygiene with which they may challenge the state board to become a Certified Dental Hygienist.
