Y -- PROVIDE & INSTALL FENCING SOL IFB 548-10-97 DUE 082997 POC Donna Nelson, (561) 882-6510 Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition, removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials to perform work for installation of vinyl coated chain link fences with sliding gates at the VA Medical Center, West Palm Beach, FL. Work includes general construction, alterations, necessary removal of existing structures to furnish and install 9 or 11 gauge vinyl coated chain link fence around the perimeter of six (6) lakes, and wetland area. Each lake and wetland area shall have a 12' horizontal sliding gate. Total quantity of fencing is estimated at 9100 LF. All work will be in accordance with specifications and drawings. SIC: 1799. A prebid conference and site visit will be scheduled and all bidders will be notified of the schedule in advance. COMPLETION TIME: 60 DAYS. COST RANGE: $25000 -- $100000. Solicitations will be issued on or about July 30, 1997. Bid opening date: August 29, 1997. Requests for solicitation packages made after the 15th day after publication in the CBD will not be honored.
