The CTVHCS ICF- Temple is seeking a contractor to provide a comprehensive Equipment Maintenance Management Program for the period: 10-1-97 to 9-30-98 and two option years (providing funds are available). The program shall include, but not be limited to, management services, repair analysis, invoice validation, payment processing (including cost overrun protection), technical assistance, statistical repair information and program training for the CTVHCS, ICF's Temple, Waco, Marlin, and Austin, Texas. The objective of this maintenance management program is to reduce equipment maintenance expenditures at a fixed budget. The program will replace current manufacturer and third party Full Service Maintenance Contracts with a comprehensive management services program that will combine the cost control protection of service contracts with administrative and technicalexpertise. The CTVHCS will have all maintenance and repairs performed on a "time and materials" basis by the service vendor of its choosing. Coverage shall be 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Equipment to be covered consists of, but is not limited to: Analyzers / Audiometers / Ultrasound Units / Centrifuges / X-Ray Equipment / Nuclear Imaging Systems (CT Scanners) / Gas Chromatographs / Cardiology Equipment / Anesthesia Machines / Liquid Chromatography Systems / Digicath System / Standard X-Ray Equipment / Digital Ultrasound Equipment. A complete Statement of Work and listing of specific equipment is included in the solicitation package. THIS WILL BE A FIRM-FIXED PRICE CONTRACT.
