Z -- REPLACE FLOOR TILE, WINDOWS, ENTRANCE DOORS, LIGHTING, USARC, BATON ROUGE, LA. SOL DABT39-97-B-0037 DUE 082797 POC Dewayne Cochrane, (405)442-3225 Furnish all required plant, labor, equipment and materials to complete all work in accordance with the drawings and specifications. The work to be performed includes the following principal features: Remove and store existing steel security caging system, remove and dispose of existing asbestos floor tile, asbestos containing adhesive, and prep area by cleaning concrete surface for finished floor in assembly hall. Remove and dispose of existing floor tile, asbestos containing floor tile, and asbestos containing adhesive in administrative area and prep area for new finishes. Remove and dispose of existing aluminum Store Front style entrance door systems. Remove and dispose of office exterior windows. Remove and dispose of exterior surface mounted building security lighting systems and remove and dispose of pole mounted flood light security lighting systems. Chemical or abrasive cleaning of concrete floor, provide and place non-slip floor coating to assembly hall area. Re-install steel security caging tothe same configuration as removed. provide and install new 12" X 12" vinyl floor tile, rubber cove base and clean, seal, wax (2 coats), and buff all new floor systems. Provide and clean, seal, wax (2coats), and buff existing floor tile in areas where tile was not removed or replaced. Provide and install new aluminum "Store Front" style entrance door systems, hardware, and cipher locks. Provide and install new insulated window systems and finishes. Provide and install new surface mounted security lights on administrative building. Provide and install new pole mounted flood light systems for MEP and POV areas. All work shall be coordinated to meet building security requirements. The above description of work is not chronological in order and Contractor shall provide all security measurements necessary to ensure when any component, system or item is removed the replacement or component is installed without delay or disruption to facility mission or security. This project is Subject to the Availability of Funds (SAF). Estimated issue date is 28 Jul 97. This project is unrestricted and ranges between $25,000 and $100,000. (0191)
