The work includes: removing concrete foundations, steel structures, electrical equipment, existing drains and existing fencing; clearing and stripping; excavation for Mead Substation extension, excavation from borrow, excavation for foundations and trenches, backfill, and gravelfill; constructing embankments; relocating concrete foundations, steel structures, corrugated metal pipe, and chain link fence; painting steel structures; installing Government-furnished power circuit breakers, disconnect switches, surge arrestors, insulators, and control cable; provide and install jumpers, fittings, grounding conductor, insulated cable, buswork, cable trench, conduit, gravel surfacing, riprap, and soil-applied herbicide. Unrestricted solicitation. All responsible bidders will be considered. Estimated cost of the project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Period of Performance: All work shall be completed no later than February 13, 1998.
