Work consists of seeding and fertilizing approximately 12.5 to 20.5 acres of turf type fescue and seeding approximately 31.5 to 69 acres of buffalo grass. Solicitation will include base bid plus additive bid items for a possible total of approximately 120 acres. All seeding will comply with applicable State of Nebraska and Federal seed laws, and shall be restricted to the periods listed under the recommended seed types. Appropriate mechanical methods will be used to apply seed and fertilizer. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded using sealed bid procedures. This procurement will be "unrestricted", with evaluation preference for small disadvantaged businesses. Solicitation will be available no sooner than 15 days after publication of this notice; bid opening will be scheduled no sooner than 30 days after solicitation is issued.
