The structure shall be pre-engineered steel type. The structure shall be located adjacent to the south side of building 431. The facility will be used to support welding and mechanical assembly and repair of large physical objects and systems. Three sides of the structure are to be enclosed by a 6' high masonry wall for wind protection during welding. The ceiling shall provide nominal 23' clearance. Metal halide lighting shall be provided. Electrical power shall be provided with voltages of 480 volts, 3 phase, and 120/208 volts, 3 phase. Estimated cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Due date is an approximate date only. Solicitation documents will be distributed on a first come, first served basis until the supply is exhausted.
