Furnish all labor, materials, supplies and equipment necessary to renovate room 4 in Building 5036 to a molecular biology laboratory located at Waterways Experiment Station, Vicksburg, MS. The renovation includes, but not limited to, approximately 1200 square feet of existing laboratory space, and the construction of a metal building approximately 600 square feet in area. Also included will be work related to the heating, ventilating and air conditioning of the combined space, as well as electrical, plumbing, and finishes. Utility services and rough-ins to laboratory casework will be required. The laboratory equipment and casework will not be a part of the resultant contract. Estimated cost of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. The Government intends to release Solicitation No. DACW39-97-B-0011 on or about July 30, 1997 on the INTERNET. The solicitation will open on or about August 28, 1997. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered for award. The solicitation will NOT be provided in hard copy.
