work to be performed under this solicitation includes (a) drilling 260
holes in concrete parapets for post mounting brackets, (b)
fabricating, furnishing and installing steel galvanized post mounting
brackets, and (c) fabricating, furnishing and installing 65 steel
galvanized pipe frame fence panels with chain link fence fabric. The
estimated price range of the work is $100,001 to $250,000. The work is
located on the crest of Canyon Ferry Dam approximately 18 miles
northeast of Helena, Montana, on Route 284 in Lewis and Clark County.
Solicitation packages are anticipated to be available July 28, 1997.
Requests for solicitations should be received on or before August 14,
1997. The bid opening is tentatively scheduled for August 28, 1997, at
the office of the Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Regional Office,
316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana. The contract is to be
completed by December 29, 1997. There is no charge for the first copy
of the solicitation, additional sets will be provided uponreceipt of a
nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 each. After issuance, the
solicitation may be viewed, without charge, at the following offices
of the Bureau of Reclamation: Great Plains Regional Office or Montana
Area Office, 2900 4th Avenue North, Billings, Montana. All resonsible
sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Bureau of
Reclamation. The small business size standard is $7,000,000 and the
