Notice of intention to solicit Raytheon Corporation, Electronic Systems, 1001 Boston Post Road, Marlborough, MA, for Milstar Sustainment and Operations Support. The resulting contract will be let for one (1) basic contract year beginning 1 October 1997 with two (2) one year options. The technical tasking for this effort will be to provide the following: (1) Sustainment of the Milstar Air Force Terminal software (CPCI-2) to include systems and software engineering, qualification test and documentation, (2) Sustainment of the Milstar Air Force Terminal Advanced Computer Program Maintenance Facility (ACPMF) software (CPCI-3) to include systems and software engineering, qualification test and documentation, (3) Sustainment of the Milstar Time Distribution Subsystem Preprocessor (TDSPP) Software Maintenance Facility (CSCI-7) to include systems and software engineering, qualification test and documentation, and (4) Support for the Milstar Air Force Terminal Database Maintenance Center (TDMC) activities to include terminal database image generation and image support to the operational community. The contractor must have Milstar specific systems and software engineering experience and experience producing Milstar Air Force terminal Time Standard Module (TSM) database images. Authority to procure is pursuant to 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), only one responsible source. This synopsis does not constitute a Request For Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation For Bid (IFB) and is not intended to be construed as a commitment by the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information solicited.
