Cumberland River Basin, Lyon County, Kentucky. The work shall include
furnishing all plant, equipment, labor, materials, and supplies
required to demolish and restore concrete in the anchorage pocket,
drill holes, furnish, install, test prestressed anchors, grouting for
watertightness, and watertightness tests. Riprap shall be removed at
the north end of Monolith L26. Temporary storage of riprap on the site
shall be approved by the Contracting Officer. Contractor shall
develope and submit for approval procedures for demolition of existing
concrete; sealing existing cracks over pipe gallery at Monoliths R23,
L5, and L26; drilling; watertightness testing; and anchor fabrication
including placing, grouting, placing of anchorage components at the
stressing end, stressing, anchor performance testing, and anchor
installation testing upon award of contract. This job is IFB No.
DACW62-97-B-0016 with a duration of 180 days and is estimated to be in
the $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00 range. Bid documents will be
available on or about 18 July 1997 at a cost of $15.00 per set. Make
