This procurement is for services required in support of Fleet Area Control and Surveillance Facilities (FACSFACs). The FACSFACs contain radar, communication equipment, and state of the art air traffic control systems which are used to safely manage Navy off-shore operational training and testing areas for military aircraft and ships. The major subsystems at these sites are the AN/FYK-17(V) and AN/FYK-17B(V), FACSFAC Air Control Tracking System (FACTS, the AN/FYK-3 FACSFAC Scheduling System (FACSKED) and the CV-3682/UPX Radar Beacon Digitizer (RBD). The services are to include repair and maintenance for components of the FACTS, FACSKED and RBD and providing supply support for these systems and subsystems. This is a follow-on to Allied Signal Technical Service Corporation contract number N00421-93-C-0133. The SIC Code 7629 applies. The projected level of effort is for between 16 and 29 person-years per year. Service Contract Act (SCA) Wage Determinations will apply to this contract's performance.
