Ministerial Order Amending Ministerial Order of 28 January 1993
Concerning Control of the Temperature of Deep-Frozen Products. 6.
Description of content: This Ministerial Order incorporates into the
old Order of 28 January 1993 certain provisions that are applicable
nationally. It includes a series of standards that must be met by
measuring instruments to be placed in transport vehicles registered in
Belgium. These rules also include a mutual recognition clause with
respect to equipment installed in all vehicles in keeping with rules in
force in other countries of the Union. KEY WORDS: Deep-frozen products,
temperatures, control. 7. Objective and rationale: Article 2 of
Directive 92/1/EEC provides that instruments for measuring the
temperature of deep-frozen products inside their means of transport
must be approved by the competent authority of the country in which
said means of transport are registered. As the Commission has left it
up to the countries to act on the matter, the submitted draft makes it
possible to establish standards for the approval of measuring
instruments. 8. Relevant documents: -- Royal Order of 5 December 1990
concerning deep-frozen products. -- Ministerial Order of 28 January
1993 concerning control of the temperature of deep-frozen products. 9.
