Abney, 202-708-6498, DeSandre Cobb, Contract Specialist, 202-708-9472, Joyce Calloway, Contracing Officer, 202-708-7216 The U.S. Department of Education (ED), Office of Civil Rights (OCR), has a total small business set-aside requirement for a firm to acquire source data and information regarding civil rights compliance in the nation's public elementary and secondary (E&S) schools. The contractor shall provide services in the OCR in support of the Fall 1997 compliance report; and at the option of the Government, the Fall 1998 E&S School Civil Rights Compliance Report, a series of special studies, and the Fall 2000 Compliance Report. The total contract duration is 55 months, with the base period being 15 months, and with two option periods of 15 months each, and one option period being 10 months. The procurement is open to small businesses only under the SIC 8211. The anticipated issue date of the RFP is on or about July 23, 1997. The closing date for receipt of proposals is August 22, 1997.
