54 -- OUTDOOR CHEMICAL STORAGE LOCKER SOL F40650-97-Q-0046 DUE 080797 POC Tony Clayborne, Contracting Officer, (615) 454-7841 This requirement is for an outdoor chemical storage locker to be Lab Safety P/N FR1020 with Options A, B, C, D. or approved equal meeting the following salient characteristics: (A) 350 CFM explosion proof mechanical ventilator, Two fixture explosion proof interior lighting and conventional exterior light with photo cell; (B) Dry chemical fire suppression system with exterior alarm bell, water sprinkler branch line wit exterior stubbed fitting for system connection in field, portable fire extinguisher; (C) R-11 thermal insulation, 26K BTU explosion proof air conditioner, electric convection explosion proof heater; (D) explosion resistance suitable for temporary storing of class 1A and or dispensing class 1B flammable liquids, explosion relief panel calibrated at 20 PSF internal pressure, rear wall mounted, meets FM approval standard I-44 for damage limiting construction The performance period will be 60 calendar days after contractor receipt of notification of contract award.
