Services are required to collect data with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Customer Satisfaction Survey and provide databases with documentation. The services involve collecting information from wholesale and retail supply activities of the military services and other federal customers. The survey mailout period is anticipated to begin September 1997. There will be four quarterly mailouts during the performance period of this contract. The contractor shall perform operations services including mailout and data set production to collect survey responses for analysis. Data capture shall be by scanning or key entry using an efficient and effective data collection process that is at least as good as optical mark read. The contractor shall provide clear documentation showing what was done in constructing the databases to allow for final editing and validation of survey databases. Other specific tasks include but are not limited to: preparing a comprehensive Management Plan for controlling and monitoring progress in accomplishing the tasks and the development of the survey control system and operational support activities for four quarterly mailings of the survey. The anticipated contract will be issued for a one year period. The contractor must have prior experience in survey operations.
