N -- PROVIDE AND I NSTALL COMPLETE AND FULLY OPERATIONAL AUDIO SOUND SYSTEMS IN 18 COURTROOMS IN THE US DISTRICT COURTHOUSE, CHICAGO, IL SOL OXHSFDX-97-032 DUE 071497 POC Denise Reavis, 202-273-1468 Furnish all necessary labor, equipment, materials, and expertise necessary to provide and install complete and fully operational audio sound systems in 18 courtrooms in the US District Courthouse, Chicago, IL. The work includes but is not limited to supply/fabrication/testing and adjustment of audio equipment, preparation of an operations and maintenance manual, user training, warranty maintenance, and the repair and refinishing of all surfaces damaged during the installation of the system components and cabling. The contractor shall be able to respond on-site within 24 hours of a service call during warranty period and temporarily provide equivalent replacement equipment when immediate on-site repairs cannot be made. The contractor shall have calibrated test equipment of sufficient quality to permit repair and adjustment of system components to published manufacture specifications. Award will be made to the responsible bidder submitting the lowest-priced responsive bid. This is an invitation for bids,the contract will be firm-fixed price, for a basic requirement for 18 courtrooms. Estimated cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000. Payment and performance bonds are required. Bids will be solicted for the proposed contract on an unrestricted basis as to business size.
