Project is located on the Salmon River Ranger District, Idaho County, Idaho; from Riggins, Idaho proceed easterly along the Salmon River Road #1614 (County Road 174) a distance of 9.7 miles to the junction with FDR #221; thence northerly along Road #221 a distance of 2.90 miles to the junction with FDR #263; thence westerly along Road #263 a distance of 3.45 miles to the first repair site. Project consists of road repair and maintenance at sites on the Salmon River Ranger District including excavation & embankment, road blading, drainage installation, slide removal, installation of welded wire gabions, installation of riprap, placing aggregate and other miscellaneous and associated work. Pre-bid tour is scheduled for August 8, 1997 to begin at the Supervisor's Office in Grangeville at 8:00 a.m. Estimated start work is September 15, 1997.
