Brown Project includes approximately .58 miles road widening (minor reconstruction), 2.28 miles of road conditioning, 6 culverts installed, placing riprap, and spread haul and compact approximately 13,095 tons of surfacing aggregate on 3.0 miles of road. Apply .5 gals/S.Y. of magnesium chloride on this surfacing. The project is located in Archuleta County, San Juan National Forest, Colorado, in the Chimney Rock Archaeological Area, approximately 3.2 miles south of the junction of Highways 160 and 151. Contract time is 60 calendar days. Work shall be done between October 1 and May 1. Price range is between S250,000 and S500,000. Anticipated issue date for solicitation package is July 18, 1997.
