Project involves the alteration of real property into a Regional Confinement Facility. Work includes but, is not limited to the following major items: (1) Some demolition of interior walls, ceilings, floors, sprinkler system, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical equipment. (2) Construction of new fire rated partitions, including doors, and windows. (3) Installation of new plumbing for latrines, HVAC, electrical, and security fencing at perimeter. Project involves Government Furnished Equipment including several cells to be installed. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,00. Projected performance period is approximately 180 calendar days. NOTICE: A 20% bid bond is required. Performance and payment bonds will be required from the successful bidder. Project is subject to the statutory cost limitation of $500,000. Project is subject to existing preference for Small Disadvantage Business in accordance with current FAR requirements. The applicable size standard is no more than $17,000,000 average annual revenue for the previous three years. The SIC Code is 1542. Solicitation is being issued on an unrestricted basis. All requests for solicitation packages must be in writing and accompanied by a certified check, money order, or company check made payable to the United States Treasurer for the amount of $36.50.
