This announcement constitutes the request for proposal for the required items. Proposals are hereby requested under RFP N00189-97-R-0072 a subsequent solicitation document will not be issued. FISC Acquisition Group Norfolk intends to purchase, on a full and open competitive basis, Water Demineralizer Supplies as follows: 1) 20 pg Cation Membrane, size 15 each in 1 package, P/N 5200199 or equal, 2) 60 pg Anion Membrane, size 15 each in 1 package, P/N 5200253 or equal, 3) 2 ea Flow Indicator, 0-125 GPM, P/N 1090151 or equal, 4) 4 ea Flow Indicator, 0-250 GPM, P/N 1090160 or equal, 5) 80 ea Top Electrodes, P/N 5500320 or equal, 6) 2 ea Ball Valve, 2 way PVC 6", P/N 3310736 or equal, 7) 4 ea Acid Timer, P/N 2380765 or equal, 8) 7 ea Metering Pump, P/N 3010651 or equal and 9) 5 ea 3 Way Ball Valve, P/N 3200396 or equal. These items replace worn parts within the Ionics Aquamite XX Demineralizer. Part numbers are those of Ionics, Inc. of Watertown, Massachusetts. **Delivery date required is 4-6 weeks after date of contract.** Award of a firm fixed price contract on a brand name or equal basis is contemplated. Proposals received shall specify FOB Destination, Norfolk, VA. Offers other than FOB Destination shall be ineligible for award. The following FAR provisions and clauses apply to this solicitation and are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, 52.212-2 Eval-Commercial Items: The Govt intends to make an award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the minimum technical requirements and submits the lowest overall price.
