The proposed contract is for rental (both short term (- 90 days) and long term (+ 90 days)) of sedans and vans (9 passenger and cargo). 2. The proposed contract will support US Army units within the Heidelberg/Mannheim Germany area. All vehicles must comply with all applicable safety laws, ordinance rules, and regulations by Germany. All motor vehicles will be no more than 2 years old. No vehicle will have been driven in excess of 55,000 kilometers (or equivalent in miles) at time of delivery. All motor vehicles will be equipped with either standard or automatic transmission. 3. The period of performance is 16 Aug 97 through 15 Aug 98 with 2 ea one-year options. 4.
