Restoration work to historical wood may require the use of epoxy consolidants and paste to obtain an acceptable end product. The contractor shall perform all work possible from the exterior of the structures. All material to be stripped shall be assumed to contain lead. The sash and other removable wood components shall be stripped using the dip tank process off site. New storm windows are to be installed on all openings. All buildings will be occupied. This will be a firm fixed-price requirements type contract. Ordering period is 365 days from the Notice of Award. The magnitude of this project is between $150,000.00 and $200,000.00. This acquisition is unrestricted under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The size standard for a small business concern, including its affiliates, is average annual sales or receipts for the preceding three (3) fiscal years, not to exceed $7.0 million.
