Z -- ROAD RECONSTRUCTION SOL R6-20-97-30RD DUE 081197 POC Cpntracting Department, Jeannette -- 541/883-6804 The purpose of this solicitation is to provide for repair of Forest Service Road #28. The work consists of replacing (3) large pipes with one Bottomless Arch. Four (4) Additional pipes will be installed as well. The Bottomless Arch will have concrete footings and concrete stiffening collars and will have the inlet and outlet ends protected by large riprap. There will also be placing of large riprap along the existing road and streambank for erosion control. The project is located on the Lakeview Ranger District of the Fremont National Forest, Lake County, Oregon. Magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This procurement is being conducted under the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program in accordance with PL 100-656. This is not set-aside for small business. (0176)
