The work includes: removing concrete foundations, steel structures, electrical equipment, 15-kV cable, control cable, conduit, cable trench, pole mounted disconnect switches, insulators, existing gravel surfacing, ground mat, shoo-fly overhead conductors, and wood pole structures; excavation from borrow, excavation for foundations and trenches, backfill, and sandfill; provide gravel surfacing and soil-applied herbicide and stripping; construct foundations for steel structures and electrical equipment; provide cable trench and metalwork; install Government-furnished transformers, power circuit breaker, station battery system, and duplex control boards; furnish and install load interrupter switches, disconnecting switches, and circuit switcher; furnish and install grounding system, conduit, insulated conductors and cables, bus systems, substation signs, and indoor ac and dc distribution panelboards; and install approach spans. Unrestricted solicitation. All responsible bidders will be considered. Estimated cost of the project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
