Synopsis 97-25: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, materials, tools, supplies, supervision, incidental engineering, and management required to perform the inspections, testing, maintenance, repair, and component replacement as required to maintain elevator equipment systems in accordance with the contract requirements and ASME 17.3. Work includes the performance of service work, preventive maintenance of equipment, routine and periodic inspections and tests, and other services. The intentions of this solicitation is to obtain elevator maintenance, inspection, testing service and repairs at Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach, Ca, by means of a combination firm fixed price/indefinite quantity type contract. Performance time will be for twelve months from award. The total duration of this contract, including exercise of any options, shall not exceed five years. Bids will be considered from all responsible sources. The proposed contract is 100% Set-Aside for Small Businesses. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 7699.
