This is a notice of intent to negotiate with Oracle Corp, 20 Davis Dr, Belmont, Ca 94002 on an other than full and open competitive basis to purchase maintenance on Software Subscription. It is imperative to maintain continuity maintenance between the RDMS and CASE tool set on which the business process model will reside. By using Oracle products throughtout the process of planning, design and development, the government forgoes the need to translate language from a modeling tool into a data base tool. The ORACLE CASE tool generates code that is easily interpreted by the ORACLE RDBMS and Oracle holds all proprietary rights to the Oracle software products for which support service are required. The government intents to negotiate on a sole source basis with Oracle Corporation to ensure the capability to manage other imminent and future software subscription.
