Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to negotiate on a full and open competitive basis for the of a lease of information technology equipment (IT) to be located at the Commander in Chief, US Atlantic Fleet (CINCLANTFLT), Norfolk, VA. A Firm Fixed Price contact is contemplated. The equipment to be leased shall qualify as "Commercial Items" as defined in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 2. The equipment to be leased shall include Desktop Workstations, Servers, Switching & Hubbing Modules, Black & White Laser Printers, Thermal Inkjet Color Printers, Color Laser Printers, Laptops, and Docking Stations. This requirement is for a straight Lease and includes provisions for periodic Technical Refreshment of the leased equipment, thereby enabling the Government to lease current "State-of-the-Art" equipment. The schedule for Technical Refreshments of Desktops, Printers, Laptops, and Docking Stations shall occur at 18 months, 36 months, and 54 months after date of award. The schedule for Technical Refreshments of Servers shall occur at 24 months and 42 months after date of award. The schedule for Technical Refreshments of Switching & Hubbing shall occur at 24 months and 48 months after date of award. On-call and Preventative Maintenance shall be included during the life of the contract as part of the monthly lease charge. An additional quantity of 10% of each equipment shall be provided by the Contractor as a Spares Pool. Installation of equipment is NOT a part of this requirement, NOR is Software required under this requirement. At the completion of the life of the contract, all equipment shall be returned to the contractor. This requirement is for a base period of 12 months, with four twelve-month option periods. The total duration of the contract shall not exceed five (5) years. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia.
