Slana (Site Code W31XNJ) Project consist of the construction of an approximate 80,000 SF, two story academic facility, features include a 450 set auditorium, classroom space, admin and office space. Facility is steel frame construction, exterior walls are EIFS on steel studs, batt insulation and gypsum board interior face. Roof system is concrete roof tile on plywood deck. Roof structure is a light gage steel truss. The foundation system includes reinforced concrete grade beams supported by reinforced concrete pile caps on auger- cast drilled concrete piles. Site work included asphalt parking lots, area lighting and associated utility work. Bid documents are available on or about 10 July 1997. The estimated cost of work is over $10,000,000. Requests for plans and specifications shall indicate in writing whether firm will bid as a prime contractor or a subcontractor. Bidders, subcontractors and Dodge/Plan Rooms are encouraged to register on the Internet to receive one CD-ROM.
